Dollars for Scholars 2012
The "Dollars for Scholars 2012" pledge drive is going on now! Become a part of helping make academic dreams come true! All of the funds raised will be used to create scholarships for students from CVHS, DMHS, WSHS, and La Familia. All donations are tax-deductible!
Good to Great News
Many great things are happening everyday in the Coachella Valley Unified School District! This year we're committed to shining the spotlight on all of these wonderful things in our "Good to Great News" feature.

Bobby Duke Students are MATH CHAMPIONS!!!!
Math Field Day Champions!!!
Overall Bobby Duke team took 3rd Place against every school in the desert. Bobby Duke challenged every student from public and private schools.
Individual Awards-
Alison Lepe - 2nd Place in Hex
Sebastian - 1st Place in 3D Tic Tac Toe
Kim Bravo - 1st Place in 5-in-a-row

Greetings CVUSD Parents/Guardians!
Welcome to School Year 2011-2012 designated by the Coachella Valley Unified School District Board of Trustees as the “Year of the Parent.”
We thank you for entrusting us with your wonderful treasures as we truly believe that we are educating our future teachers, attorneys, doctors, principals, mechanics, engineers, business owners, entrepreneurs, secretaries, pilots, politicians and, yes, even possibly a future president!
Today, and every day, is a joyous day because we will come in contact with your children who are like our own, and who we believe through a quality education may someday save a life, or start the next Google, or paint the next Mona Lisa!
Today, and every day, is a wonderful day because you trust us. You allow us to change their lives and shape the world in which we live because you know and believe that we care. You expect the best from us as we expect the best from them, and we expect the best from you!
Today, and every day, is the beginning of a beautiful journey up the mountain to the peak of student success, and the fulfillment of many dreams that you have for your children. We recognize and respect that. We will not let you down because you will not let us down. We will do this together!
Today, and every day, is the day when Collaborative Voices United for Student Success is a Daily cultural mode of operation; a way of life, and our only way of doing business!
And finally, I say today, and every day, is another day that I get to say thank you for what you will do for your students this year in collaboration with us in this wonderful “Year of the Parent.”
It is our time to make history and show that WE ARE TOGETHER, AND WE ARE UNITED, AND WE ARE HERE FOR THE STUDENTS OF CVUSD AND THE CVUSD SCHOOL COMMUNITY!
